TJ Jordan, LCPC is a dynamic facilitator, trainer and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has mastered the art of engaging and empowering youth and training the adults who serve them. His innovative approach to youth empowerment is a culmination of over 15 years of direct experience working with youth of all ages and backgrounds in educational, mentoring and counseling settings. The founder of Authentic Connections and co-founder of Engage 2 Empower, TJ primarily consults and trains professionals who serve adolescents in group and individual settings in the areas of social-emotional learning, education, counseling, and violence prevention. He also has extensive experience in curriculum creation and program development and has created two original SEL group curriculums currently in use in under-resourced schools in Chicago, St. Louis and Kansas City. TJ has led professional development trainings and wellness workshops for youth workers at Big Brothers Big Sisters, Chicago Public Schools (over 30 schools served), Youth Guidance, Chicago CRED, Chicago Youth Centers, Alternative Schools Network, Youth Peace Center of Roseland, and many more.
